A civil surgeon in the US must certify the I-693, even if you aren't required to get another medical.

12/15/2009 - K1 Visa Interview - APPROVED!

12/29/2009 - Married in Oakland, CA!

08/18/2010 - AOS Interview - APPROVED!

05/01/2013 - Removal of Conditions - APPROVED!

Often times you will be asked to have the medical vaccination sheet transcribed to I-693 if you don't send in the vaccine sheet from medical.

The key in the DS3025 vs I-693 issue is this very important question: Were all vaccines completed before or at the overseas medical? If Yes, were these vaccines properly documented on the DS3025?

If you answered "NO" then an I-693 is most definitely required. If you answered yes, some VJers have successfully filed with only the DS3025, but others have also been RFE'd for the vaccination supplement (Parts 1, 2-vacc. only, and 5 of the I-693).

So, regardless, the answer is either Yes, I-693 is required or Maybe the I-693 is required. Love bureaucracy, huh?

K-1:

Yes. This question is always in discussing matter. Everybody was asking these.

You are correct, Nik+Heather!

I didn't file I-693 and only filed copy of completed vaccination supplement sheet and they didn't RFE me and I got an interview date.
