gathering interview questions

Hey VJ buddies... So my fiance turn in her Packet 3 about a month ago. I think we should be expecting Packet 4 sometimes soon...

From what I been researching here...they ask a lot questions that we would typically never talk about or come to ask each other. So I am wondering if there are some kind resource here that can provide "study questions" or if anyone have a list that they can share...?

Don't get me wrong...I have known my fiance for over a year now...and we talk for 1-2hours every day... We just want to be well prepared when she makes the trip to that window of hell.

Typical Consulate questions usually focus on the relationship aspect of the petitioner and beneficiary. Such things as fiancee name, when you met, when you proposed, did you neet her family, what do you do for a living, questions about your divorce(s) if applicible, do you have children, where you live...

Basically, the Consulate asks the beneficiary questions that someone in an ongoing relationship would know. They are looking for inconsistencies between what you listed on your G-325A and what your fiancee knows about you.

There are sample interview questions in the K-1 guides but they're all similar to what I've posted above. Your fiancee should have no problem ansering them based on the fact that you've know each other for over a year. If you're not sure - review your biographical dada sheet with your fiancee (email her a copy if she doesn't have one already)..

A good thing to do is to review the timeline of your relationship that you created. Along with the list of any family that she has living in the US. Also, she will want to know the names of your immediate family members and where they live. Who proposed to who, when and where. Where do you live. What is your job. What are your hobbies. Lots of the things that typical couples know about each other.

Do some reading in this forum and the Asia: East and Pacific forum to gain a sense of what she should expect at the interview. There are too many potential questions to possibly list.

What do you do, name of your boss, company size, what does your company make, ect.
