Hi,

I think I have made a bit of a boo boo. When you send back the checklist, are you also meant to send back forms DS230 etc? Or are these meant to be taken with you on the day of interview?

I fear I may have misunderstood the instructions not to mail back documents, and neglected to send back anything aside from the checklist.

If this is the case should I just fill out the forms, and send everything back with a new version of the checklist?

Cheers,

Arch

Yes, you are supposed to send back all the forms with the checklist. When they say not to mail back documents, they mean documents they want you to bring to the interview like police certificate, affidavit of support, passport, birth certificate etc.

So, yes, send the forms in now!

Just reminding other readers that the answer to this question is Consulate specific. It's actually more common to only send the checklist.

Fortunately i realised now, not in another few months time when i had heard nothing back.

Sending off the extra forms tomorrow, hopefully will move to where my original IV-15 was in the queue, though i have my doubts!
