Venezuela Visa Issues...HELP

Hey all,

I'm a born US Citizen who is staying in Venezuela with my boyfriend and his family. This is the second time I've been here in the past two years. The first time I came on a tourist visa and left within the 90 days.

This time I came (January 19th) I was in a pickle at my last airport before leaving the US. I flew Caribbean Airlines and they told me I needed a ticket back to the US before they could let me leave, and I was forced into buying a new ticket right then and there with the only money I had on me (400 big ones..a lot, I know...) for a ticket to Miami (I'm from Ohio..it was the only one I could afford). The ticket was for a random date, March 19th because I had not yet decided on what date I would leave...I was in the middle of a panic attack, I was freaking out...I just told them whatever. Heres the problem:

Its now almost to the 90 days the tourist visa allows me and I was not able to leave with my ticket I had bought because of various reasons, love being one of them.

I am in constant stress trying to figure out what I'm going to do. I keep trying to call Caribbean Airlines because they have an Unused Ticket Policy wherein a ticket that is unused is valid for up to a year. I sent them emails and they haven't gotten back to me yet.

What I want to know is what do I need to do to stay here legally? I read something about going to the embassy but which embassy do I go to? Do I need an appointment or what? What do I even ask for? If I found it possible for me to get a job could I apply for a work visa? What kind of things do you need for that?

Any fast advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm so exasperated right now, I just turned 18 a few months ago and really don't know what to do here. Leaving in a hurry is one of the last things I want to do.
