Like suggesting that you park your car in a location where it won't be struck by hail. :P

It could be worse, at least the hail wasn't mixed with fire.

Thanks for the advice..... :bonk:

Seriously though, I was fueling my car under a roof, moments before the storm hit. I thought heck, it's only rain...press on... Then whammo..hailstorm from He11...Should have stayed at the gas station....

As always, hindsight is 20/20.

I have filed the claim with the insurance company....More to come next week.

Topic wrap-up.....I noted that the majority of "Hail" dents have gone away on there own, given the weather (very hot and cold, with rain). According to body shop experts, most hail events tend to go away without intevention. I have 2 minor dents left.....Which need pointing out to be seen....

That said, I collected the payout of $621.00 and will apply it elswhere...

That'll buy you a fair number of lap dances, but remember money is not to be taken internally.

 sure they do. if they're 1/8 inch deep or more they're going nowhere. thats why your insurance company paid you to get the fixed. do yourself a favor, make up a dated reciept & keep it handy.( 'slick willie's PDR'. will be fine. no they won't check validity, they don't care. the adjusters just need a piece of paper saying it was fixed) you'll need it if it happens again or they will deduct $621 + your deductable from your next claim.
