APRIL 2010 (I-130) FILERS

This is my 2nd try at a Visa. Went through the process from May to December 2009, for a K1 with no success. Applied 130 in April 2010, and started all over again. Hope I have learned a little of possible improvements to petition and have success this time. Good Luck, everyone.......Bob........

Where did you get the average from? USCIS website?

The actual average is about 80 days to 100 days.

Actually, I am so desperate of waiting that i have checked some similar timelines of my country and others, and I have seen some of them get lucky and get the NOA2 in 60 or 70 days, so lets hope we are among those LUCK!!!!

40 days is a bit early! i know one person who got theirs in a little less than 60 days, but keep waiting!!! hope for something next month!!

Any good news from you April filers? I just checked the NOA1 to NOA2 times on the site and VSC is a full month ahead of CSC! CSC is even a day behind what it was yesterday. I thought CSC was supposed to be faster! So frustrating. Have any of you lucky VSC people gotten your NOA2s yet? The site said April 9...

Also, I hope you're all getting your NVC paperwork together so you'll be ready when the NOA2 eventually does show up. We've got all of B's paperwork (police certificate, birth certificate, marriage certificate, all that stuff) and my joint sponsor and I are close to done with the I-864s and accompanying paperwork. I just wanted to mention this in case anyone hasn't started on this. Our time is approaching, folks, so let's all be ready and have our loved ones with us sooner rather than later!

(Still kind of annoyed about that VSC/CSC discrepancy.)

yeah before the CSC was moving faster than VSC, but it looks like they flip flopped.

I wonder why the timelines keep changing? I am in the CSC and it is moving backwards, I think it doesnt make sense!!

does someone have a clue?

i am not sure but they probably break down applications to CSC and VSC etc depending on what the country the beneficiary is from?

maybe there is a huge influx of petitions in CSC now from certain countries?

Hi I am trying to get all my stuff ready for NVC, I read about a migratory certificate, but I am not sure if it is for the NVC or the interview, because I am afraid if I hava the certificate right now it wont be accepted for the time it has been expedited.

I would appreciate your answers,

thats for the interview, its like the times you go ion and out of your country, I think it is required for Colombians.

almost 50 days waiting and that inmigration timelines keeps changing, actually, i start to doubt how true and certain it is that!!! how dessapointing!!!

if it is for the interview, and you do not have to send it to the NVC then you probably don't have to do it until xxxx amount of time before your interview.

some things you take to the interview, like the medical results. so it could be like that.

don't rely on me though! i don't know the country specific rules!
