Yesterday, my dad in law called uscis, they told him: they will help to check case until 6 months later since filed. Today is Oct 15, that means we should wait another 11 days.

My husband doesn't wanna contact senator, because it is troubling. So I can do nothing but waiting. :bonk::bonk::bonk:

Contacting senator is not troubling at all, just email them; you have nothing to lose, either they help you, either they say - no we can not help you. We contacted senator and congressman but unfortunately did not qualify to expedite application nor we have reached 5 month time line. But if you excided that 5 month period, oh yea i would contac spmeone immeditelly and strongly encourage you to do the same. I hope you get your approval soon, good luck.

Came back to give my home thread some love and reassurance. Just a slow down is all it is and the holidays do hurt on the processing times you April guys will make it to the NVC stage soon I bet. Good luck to all of you.

Contacting senator is not troubling at all, just email them; you have nothing to lose, either they help you, either they say - no we can not help you. We contacted senator and congressman but unfortunately did not qualify to expedite application nor we have reached 5 month time line. Out of sheer curiosity how do you approach a local congress man/woman or elected official to help in looking into the filing of a 130 and ask them for assistance? Basically what are the how toos and donts to get some resolution on a filing.

Also to note i checked the USCIS website today and there is no change. Even after placing a service request on 10-12.

10/26/10: NVC Case# received by calling AVR.

10/27/10: DS-3032 Emailed, no response.

10/28/10: Called NVC gave both Petitioners & Beneficiaries email and contact info

10/28/10: IIN Received, emailed DS-3032 using supervisor Sue, received response that agent can not be added at this time.

11/01/10: Emailed DS-3032 and have no response so far.

11/04/10: AOS Fee Invoiced and Paid. IV Fee Not Invoiced yet.

11/04/10: Re-emailed DS-3032.

11/04/10: Medical test given, if any issues will hear back or if its all good will be turned over to Emabassy.

11/05/10: Recieved AOS fee Paid confirmation and barode sheet.

11/06/10: AOS mailed USPS Express.

11/08/10: AOS package received by NVC; Signed by :N Visa Center,Received email that DS-3032 has been received and accepted & IV Fee Invoiced & Paid. Waiting for processing.

11/12/10: IV package mailed USPS express.

11/15/2010: IV package recieved by NVC.

11/19/10: AOS entered into System.

10/05/2010 Touched, probably as a result of contacting Congressman

10/06/2010 NOA2 Approved after 160 days

10/13/2010 NVC Case # Assigned, Called NVC and gave them beneficiary email

10/14/2010 Sent COA Email, Received IIN, Received AOS Invoice, Paid AOS

10/18/2010 AOS status "PAID," Sent AOS packet, IV paid (not sure where the invoice went)

10/19/2010 IV Payment status "PAID!" Still no sign of the DS-3032 acceptance or IV payment invoice.

11/02/2010 Received request for IV packet; re-sent IV packet.

11/04/2010 SIF, Case Complete After 23 days

11/29/2010 NVC decides to give me the finger; case reopened and closed.

10/26/10: NVC Case# received by calling AVR.

10/27/10: DS-3032 Emailed, no response.

10/28/10: Called NVC gave both Petitioners & Beneficiaries email and contact info

10/28/10: IIN Received, emailed DS-3032 using supervisor Sue, received response that agent can not be added at this time.

11/01/10: Emailed DS-3032 and have no response so far.

11/04/10: AOS Fee Invoiced and Paid. IV Fee Not Invoiced yet.

11/04/10: Re-emailed DS-3032.

11/04/10: Medical test given, if any issues will hear back or if its all good will be turned over to Emabassy.

11/05/10: Recieved AOS fee Paid confirmation and barode sheet.

Seems like April filers are being processed.
