My case was touched (I feel special) only once, back in 29-APR-2010. I hoping someone opened up my file and went like so: "I-130 Check. G325a check. Copy of passport check. So on an so forth. Everything looks good. Let me put it up for now and in one month I'll comeback and put my seal of approval on it"

That would be amazing. Good luck to us Aprilers and rest of you folks.

N400 CITIZENSHIP STAGE

23-DEC-2016 -:- N400 form mailed to Dallas, TX Lockbox (USPS EXPRESS)

27-DEC-2016 -:- N400 form delivered/picked up by USCIS

01-JAN-2017 -:- N400 form fee check cashed by USCIS

04-JAN-2017 -:- N400 form received per NOA1

09-JAN-2017 -:- N400 form NOA1 notice date

14-JAN-2017 -:- N400 form NOA1 on hand through USPS

30-JAN-2017 -:- N400 fingerprint taken

01-FEB-2017 -:- N400 interview schedule process started

26-JUL-2017 -:- N400 interview date set (01SEP2017)

29-JUL-2017 -:- N400 interview letter on hand

Hope you are having a pleasant saturday. I received my NOA1 today. YAY!!! Now the waiting begins.

Marriage: 09-12-2009

USCIS

4-26-10 Sent of I-130

10-07-10 Approved

10-12-10 Received hardcopy of NOA2

NVC

10-12-10: NVC has application but case number yet to be assigned.

10-18-10: Case number assigned.

10-19-10: Provided both email addresses

10-23-10: DS-3032 emailed; no response

10-28-10: Received IIN, dithering around instead of paying the fee

10-30-10: DS3032 Kit and I-864 AOS review fee ($88) online payment; In Process

11-03-10: I-864 AOS status 'PAID"; printed cover sheet and mailed I-846EZ package

11-04-10: I-864EZ AOS received and signed by N. Visa Center

11-05-10: DS-230 IV fee ($404) online payment

11-17-10: AOS entered into the system

12-03-10: IV fee paid ($404); In Process

12-06-10: DS-230 IV status 'PAID',

OMG,,, we sent our file (i-130 qith g-325a) om April, 26, 2010 and we just get out first mail frim USCIS today,,, Hope in a month we got the second letter with Approval. Best wishes for you all.

I believe that the average time for the NOA 2 is 3 months. After that there are other things that take time. All in all, it looks like around 9 months from acceptance of the I-130 to the visa/green card.

9 months! Does it really take that long? The USCIS website estimates it should only take 5 months. Is there a step I am unaware of?

5 months USCIS, a month in NVC, and a possible other month for interview date...generally. Some people get approved ahead of the 5 months USCIS time frame and some people take more than a month with NVC. It just depends.

-NOA 1 Receipt date: 3/1/10 (sent 2/18/10)

-Touched 4 different times in between

-APPROVED: 6/2/10

93 days from NOA1 to NOA2

-Received NVC case number: 6/9/10/10

-Gave NVC my e-mail address & e-mailed DS3032: 6/10/10

-Received NVC e-mails (DS3032 and AOS Fee)& paid AOS fee: 6/11/10

-AOS Fee shows as PAID & paid IV Bill: 6/15/10

-IV Bill shows as paid: 6/6/10

-Received IV instruction packet: 6/8/10

-Received dox from co-sponsor: 10/14/15/10

-Sent AOS package: 10/18/10

-AOS package received: 10/19/10-J.Desmond

-IV Package mailed out: 11/3/10

-AVR says I have an RFE: 11/5/10

-NVC operator told me what my RFE's are: 11/8/10

i think it takes most people almost 2 months at NVC. because they move pretty slow, and if you make one mistake it adds weeks to the process.

or if you don't get all your docs ready before your case goes to NVC you may end up adding time to it. sigh....yeah stay knowledgeable and on top of it!

4/27/2010 - Mailed I-130 packet to chicago lockbox

5/7/2010 - Received Return receipt confirmation with Signature from chicago lockbox

5/10/2010 - Received NOA1 from California Service Center

07-02-2020 - I-130 SENT
06-01-2021 - APPROVED

NVC
06-06-2021 - Recevied NVC case no. - case entered into nvc's system

06-08-2021 - AOS fee
06-08-2021 - IV fee
07-05-2021 - IV & AOS documents submitted online

07-19-2021 - received message from NVC about case can not be processed unless all civil documents are submitted (was missing police clearance)

08-12-2021 - submitted police clearance certificate - which was last document submitted to NVC

11-05-2021 - Case completed at NVC - DQ

03-31-2022 - Interview letter received

04-28-2022 - Interview date at mumbai embassy
