APRIL 2010 (I-130) FILERS

I mailed my app on March 31, 2010, it was received on April 2. I have a notice date of April 9, and I actually received my Case # and NOA1 today April 15th.

My question is this... the return address on the envelope indicates the California Service Center. Does that mean that they have my application? (I ask because it appears that due to my location I should fall under the Vermont Service Center.

Does the return address really mean anything? Or might my application actually be in Vermont?

They cashed my check today, But WAC # is still not working at USCIS site.

Attn: SAI-130

131 South Dearborn – 3rd Floor

Chicago, IL 60603-5517

I sent it on 8th April. I haven't seen cheak that's cashed yet, or not even an email/txt message for the acceptance of I-130 (G-1145 filed).

Is this the address that you all sent your application to. ?? ??

I sent mine to P.O. Box in Chicago, Mine was delivered same day as yours. They might cash your check today.

Start off with your financials. Tax returns for 2009, 2008 and 2007. Employment letter, paystubs if you're using them.

The beneficiary should get cracking on obtaining their PCC, original marriage certificate, birth certificate, 2 US visa specification photographs etc.

Recommended AOS package:

I-864 Coversheet (with barcode) for payment of $70

Form I-864 (signed and dated)

2009 Federal Tax Return/W2 and 1099s or IRS tax transcript.

2008 Federal Tax Return and W2 and 1099s or IRS tax transcript.

2007 Federal Tax Return/W2 and 1099s or IRS Tax Transcript

Letter of Employment

Pay stub(s) from the most recent six months

Bank Statements.

Remember, the USC petitioner will file a I-864 regardless of income. If your joint sponsor lives in the same household as the petitioner, then they will use I-864A. If they live in a separate residence, then they will fill in another I-864.

For your joint sponsor you will need proof of their citizenship/residency. For household member, you will need proof of relationship and same household/residence.

Download the forms. Read the instructions thoroughly. Fill them out in pencil and have it ready.
