Hello everybody! I'm glad to find alot of you in here who share the same boat as us! I sent my petition on April and our NOA1 date is May 5th!

By this far, Are we safe from RFEs and background checks?

Yeah it appears there are a lot of late April filers who are waiting. My NOA1 was May 3rd. I am soo happy to see CSC is now on March 30th. Hopefully, with March out of the way, the process will become a bit faster for us.

In terms of RFEs I am hoping that they would have sent them by now. I know that they have touched some people's files so it should have triggered any RFEs they had. But one never knows so we cross our hands and pray that it never happens.

10-12-10 Received hardcopy of NOA2

NVC

10-12-10: NVC has application but case number yet to be assigned.

10-18-10: Case number assigned.

10-19-10: Provided both email addresses

10-28-10: Received IIN, dithering around instead of paying the fee

10-30-10: DS3032 Kit and I-864 AOS review fee ($88) online payment; In Process

11-03-10: I-864 AOS status 'PAID"; printed cover sheet and mailed I-846EZ package

11-04-10: I-864EZ AOS received and signed by N. Visa Center

11-05-10: DS-230 IV fee ($404) online payment

I THINK THEY ARE BUSY DOING MARCHERS FROM THE 22 TO 31 RIGHT NOW, BUT NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAID I THINK THEY WILL SATRT WITH APRIL SOON :) SO WE ARE CLOSER... I AM A LATE APRIL FILER I GOT MY NOA1 THE 4TH SO IT WILL BE AT LEAST ONE MONTH MORE, BUT I HOPE GETTING IT SOONER :)

who??? I havent seen. the only one i know was a person from chile, but their case was expedited cus of Chile's earthquake.

My hopes are high too, we just have to extend our patience not to mention we still can't get track our case online because our EAC number is incorrect, but I believe whatever the circumstances maybe GOD will always make a way. So next week NOA 2 please let us have you...

Well April folks,

It appears that USCIS has moved on to us. Although, they claim they received my application May 3rd, it was signed for on April 27th. At best I have another four weeks but at most, I hope see something within the next two weeks.

May God bless all of us and may everyone receive their NOA2 this month.

We went and got my Police Certificate, and also completed as much as possible on the DS230 and the I864. I've made sure we have all the papers required for NVC ready to go. We also spent some time reading up on the NVC process (on the VJ site) so that we have a good idea of what's to come. Check out this link if you haven't already...
