Okay good point, maybe they enter the date wrong - I hope that's the case. We pre-filled the DS-230 forms for starters. She has a copy of her Birth cert. How does she obtain the Police Cert? would she just go to the local police station and ask for it or will she have to first get packet 3 then they can give it to her?

what other forms or files need to be filled out?

No, it doesnt make any sense that they would have sent her pckt 3 before you got your NOA2. I would think it is a typo, a date entered wrong in the system, or something like that.

You need to have returned packet 3 to get your interview. There are several forms for her to fill and they will need that for the interview. At this point, I dont think there is much more you can do... Montreal being backlogged, it is hard to get a response from them. My guess is that the date was entered wrong and the Pckt 3 is on its way.

In the meantime she can look at the forms and gather the info she will need. Make sure she has all the required docs (birth cert., police cert. etc.).
