I am NOT poking fun at ANY baby, as far as I'm concerned, every baby is a miracle. But they do look awful funny at first. But if you're the baby's parent, most of the time you're oblivious to it. :yes:

All newborns are ugly. They are squished and red. They just went through a traumatic process what do you expect?

My daughter was fat (10 pounder) and really not cute at all right after I had her. I thought she was the prettiest baby in the world though! :D Now she's even more of a doll. Really though, I've worked in the nursery at the hospital. Newborns are generally not the prettiest. They've been squished up for quite a while and just went through he$$ to get out. :star:

Yep. It's the work of sculptor, Ron Mueck from Australia. Here's some of his other pieces...he plays with scale...awesome work!

That squished up, mashed look disappears so fast though...and maybe they do look quite pitiful at first. But to call them ugly? Yeah, they go through hell to be born, can't expect them to look picture perfect. I guess it's just me, but all babies are beautiful. They are miracles. :)

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.
