Uh, the only other thing I can think is to include extra copies of your marriage cert for the other petitions just incase they get split up, as well as another copy of your bio page for the I-485.

hehe, well, I figured, 1 from my husband's best man, 1 from the person we live next to, 1 from a person who was at our wedding, sees us at least once a month and lives close by, 1 from a friend that comes around often and 2 from my family members with whom I speak on the phone. I won't be including their second affidavit explaining about how I wanted to move back home. I will bring those to the interview, but I will only show them if the "intent" is brought up.

I know that because of the overstay, we will have an interview, but I'm aiming to put enough stuff in there that they don't schedule one... or so the IO is convinced our the validity of our marriage. :)

Ignore her post. It has nothing to do with the K1 process and so nothing to do with you or your process. This thread here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/235331-aos-ead-ap-from-k1-the-aussie-way-doc-list-included/ is what YOU need to worry about. :D

The OP has overstayed her Canadian visitors visa thingy and is adjusting status based on her marriage to a USC which means she has to do the I-130. The I-130 is basically (very basically) her version of visa process the K1's go through to just GET here so you'll have done most of it.

Thank you! Sorry for the mix up. :)

Not a problem. hope it makes "Golden_State" feel better to know it's not her process :P

I threw up a little bit when I read this... ugh, I just got everything ready for my interview and don't even want to think about the AOS package. I wish this process was easier.

Looks like you've got everything organized though!

Take heart. The AOS packet for a K-1 entrant is significantly smaller than the packet Kittyfang is having to do. Because she is adjusting from a tourist visa, she has to include an I-130, with it's stack of evidence and documentation, with the I-485 packet.

As a K-1 entrant, you did your equivalent of the I-130 - the I-129F - months ago, when you began this process. Your paperwork has been, and will be, spread out over months. Kittyfang's paperwork goes in all at once, so it definitely looks much more overwhelming than what your process will be.

K-1 entrants do not have to include significant relationship evidence with the AOS packet - just the marriage certificate. The biggest stack of documentation included with a K-1 entrant's AOS package is the I-864 affidavit of support documentation and evidence, and you should have most of that already gathered - left over from the I-134 info you just gathered fro the consulate interview. Keep all of that stuff in a nice neat file, and when the time comes, the AOS paperwork will be a piece of cake.

DON'T PANIC

you left out the I-864. YOU DID list the errata needed for it, but not the form itself. I'm sure it's a smallish oversight, right?

Rock On, KittyFang !!!

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

I've listed it under the I-485, but you're right, I should have added it to the list as a form in itself. But yeah, thank you for the positive comment! This is starting to shape up nice, I think. :)
