Is my USC wife able to travel while I'm waiting for green card to arrive?

My USC wife and I have been married for three years and I recently received IR-1 visa on my passport through DCF.

We are planning to fly to her hometown in the end of next month.

My question is;

1. I will be qualified to receive 10-year green card, right?

2. Can my wife travel outside of the US for few weeks while I'm waiting for a plastic green card to arrive?

Any information would be appreciated.

If you have been married for 3 years, then you will get the 10 year green card. Your wife can travel anywhere she wants to. There isn't a problem with that! Good luck to you both!!

1) Yes, because you have approved IR-1, when you enter the US you should receive the 10 year green card.

2) Sure, your USC wife can travel anywhere she is able to.
