K1 In Jamaica the Packet 3

Hi Guys,

I think I am here worrying myself for mo reason.. Question I received packet three I submitted my Ds230 via email as when I email them the person in the consular office said it was ok. But as I am reading I see people saying that they sent back their packet 3.. Was I to sent back anything to the Embassy like police report and other things or was just the DS340 enough..HELP Please Help me calm my nerves.

Hi, I just mailed my husband DS-230 and I have never read anywhere on this site of anyone e-mailing the DS-230. The only document that I'm aware of that could be e-mailed is the DS-3032 AGENT OF CHOICE.The contents that need to mailed with package 3 are listed below..

• 
  
• Two (2) Passport Size Photographs of Beneficiary (NVC Case Number, beneficiary’s full name, are written on back of both)
  
• DS-230 Part 1 completed and signed by beneficiary
  
• DS-230 Part 2 completed by beneficiary – unsigned, as of yet, per instructions
  
• Photocopy of the Biographic Data Page(s) of Beneficiary’s Passport
  
• Original/Certified Birth Certificate of beneficiary and a copy
  
• Original/Certified Marriage Certificate and a copy(IF MARRIED)
  
• Original/Certified Police Clearance Certificate and a copy

Dis-regard BlessMe post, she is doing a CR1 and you are doing a K1. They follow two different routes. BlessMe, the Cr1 is handled differently than a K1.
