It seems to state that the reason you were denied a bording pass was because of no CFO...

Now that you have the sticker in your passport I would think you can file it under lesson learned...

By the way girl..u can attend CFO na in advance kahit wla ka pang visa..kasi yung iba ko na nakasabay sa counseling..wla pa eh..so u can attend it now na..so when u got ur visa..u can plan na for buying ticket..just bring ur passport some id too..dun ka narin bibigyan ng form nila..u can fill out it der b4 the counseling session..ready 650 pesos..just hve a list of ur fiance's info..kasi kaylanagan alam mo un lahat ok..even landline number nya..maiden name ng mother nya..sinasabi ko na lahat sau para alam mo na ang expectations der.. yung iba kasi di nabigyan kasi di alam lahat ng info ng fiance eh..tapos bumagsak ata sa nterview,ung one on one counseling with the counselors...so go na now para ready na yang cfo mo..sandali lng naman un..halos 6 hrs lang ako nadun eh..

Btw...just for clarification..u can attend now but u need to get back der for stamp..so mybe better u have ur visa na..kasi it will be 2 trip go to manila..ryt..so less time n money cost u..if u will get that for one trip only..kasi if u go now..only certificate they will give u..stamp is for have visa already..so i got it all coz i have..so much better..u have done all b4 u go der..k..

btw, do they require original copy of divorce papers during the CFO seminar? scanned copy lang kasi ang nasa sakin.. pati na rin sa interview, kailangan ba original copy sa divorce and ITR?

No they ddnt asked for that..my fiance was divorced too..but i never had his paper/that doc's on processing my visa at philippines..his the one i think gave it when he filed the petition here in US..

They did ask for my divorce papers at PRISM when Mhay went. I dont know if a copy would have covered it, but she had a copy with the original court stamp verification. I gave it to her just in case they asked for it at the embassy interview.

your fiancee will gonna fill up a form before the session starts that form ask pretty much about you like if your single, divorced or widowed and your mom's surname so make sure your fiancee knows about that cause if not she will not get her certificate

This is true as this happened to me. It doesn't matter even if your fiance's mom is long time dead or not. CFO still wants to know her maiden name. So two of us ended up calling our respective fiances at wee hours in the morning (US time)for us to be given the yellow certificate which is needed for the sticker and stamp. Another applicant was asked to call his fiancee to know the reason of her divorce.

That's a excellent question.

In my opinion whether or not a U.S. Citizen is married / divorced / single is none of the CFO business. I would discuss this with your fiance or husband before giving out any personal information to the CFO.
