So, our 4th yr wedding anniversary is in July and my 10yr work anniversary is also in July. So, Im thinking of either Adam & I going on a cruise with Carnival to Cozumel or Pensacola FL. Still thinking and thinking. Has anyone been on a cruise with their S.O? Do they need birthcertificates and/or passports with them?

I see alot of great prices on that website and I have several co workers that go on cruises which made me start thinking about it. Any ideas?

Im dying to see some white beaches and blue/green waters and have a Vacation!!!

Hu PalmTreeGurl,

I've been on a dozen or so cruises and the only thing I needed was my U.S. Passport...and I had my driver's license too. This should be very easy to check out on the Carnival or other cruise lines websites.

Good Luck and have fun on your vacation.

It's funny that you should ask about this because I was just looking at the carnvial website two days ago. My parents just got home today from a 7 day cruise on Carnival Triumph. My husband wanted to know if he could go on a cruise so we looked it up.

It looks like he needs his green card and passport.

Yah, I keep getting excited thinking about a vacation... Im thinking if we go to Pensacola Fl beach it will be in July for our 4th yr anniversary. If we go to Cozumel Mexico, it will be for his bday Sept 1st. Its cheaper that way! :D

How's the vacation searching going?? I want to go soooo bad! We're waiting on Mina's dad though. Once we find out what dates he will be here, it will be easier to plan a vacation!! I'm gonna do some searching, too. :)

I love Carnival cruiselines.

Last time I went I had to take my passport, since you cross over into international waters.

So it sounds like he'll need his passport and green card.

If I remember correctly, I think they only looked at the passport when you got in the ship, but it's been 5+ years, things may have changed.

Based on this I would definitely go for the cruise. July would never be my 1st choice for going to Florida, I would want to be out doing things, not drained from the heat & humidity.
