still no NOA1, no worries,hope for this or next week.

Hi all, We are April filers. They received our K1 April 30th. Yet to cash the check so waiting on that so we can start tracking it! Up ahead is the long wait!

I was wondering though, where or how do you all get the projected time lines?

If you sent a check you can always call your bank and get the receipt number from the check..but if the check was cashed rest assured everything is ok for now...If not they would have sent it back

Take alook at the links inside my previous post within this thread. They should help you understand a little the speed of the process in its current state....which will actually change good or bad at any time in the future. However, take comfort in that CSC is currently faster than the other one.

HEY ALL MY APRIL Filers I just left the March CSC 2010 forum and they are getting NOA2 everyday so we are so NEXT I cant wait for our turn to roll around looks like the CSC is blazing!!!!!!! It looks like they are still working on those that filed the 2nd week in March!!!!! We will be coming around the mountain soon!!!!

About the "touched" explanation...how do we know when our papers have been touched? im a bit confused....

A touch means that someone looked at your paper work, for some people a touch don’t mean anything for me was like Christmas morning, just to know that your papers are not lost on someone’s table made me so HAPPY!

Which Service center did you use? If you send payment by check you can get the receipt number from your bank I think

About the "touched" explanation...how do we know when our papers have been touched? im a bit confused....

You have to get an account with USCIS website. Inside you will see a "last updated" date. Whenever someone from USCIS touches your application a barcode is scanned. When this happens, the last updated should change if it is on a new date.

Therefore, I guess some applicants or beneficiaries will check their account everyday. If they see their date changed then that is a touch.

Generally you won't see any touches for a long time until they actively start working on it. There are many ahead of you waiting for theirs to be processed first.

If everything happens in the future as it seems to be happening currently, you won't see yours being touched much or at all after your NOA1 untill about 50 or so days after you NOA1.

Some I have seen get their NOA2 in as few as thirty something...but most seem to be in the 40's or 50's(days I mean).

Yes, and I just looked to see that 3 others using CSC got there NOA2 on 5/6. Their NOA1 dates include 3/22, 3/23 and 3/25. It seems that if the application looks good or meets all requirements, it should be done in the forty to fifty day range from the NOA1....hopefully. However, there will always be some that don't fit into that range for whatever reason...of course I am "guesstimating".

we sent it to csc and yeah i told my fiancee to look up the receipt number and all,just being anxious
