Seriously......how the heck is any one suppose to stay positive when the stress from missing each of our SO's is profoundly punctuated by the incredibly absurd processing times and wonder about everything under the sun. The biggest of which are, are we getting a RFE or are they denying us or simply, are they spending too much time at the water cooler talking about the single case they did that week and how exhausting it was to enter in the data and look at evidence. With my job I do a heck of a lot of data entry as well as confirming identification through documented evidence. I do dozens of clients a day as well as the members of said family. Granted what the USCIS does is probably a bit more detailed but it still should not take three to five months unless they have two or three people processing these. Some how with our government....I highly doubt that. Its ridiculous. And seriously ....talk about job security. Its bull patookie that it takes this long in the first place given the day and age of technology we live in. Any thing that these folks need to look at or confirm is easily assessable given they have the documentation right in front of them. Okay I will step down off my soap box and offer the platform to anyone else who agrees or even disagrees. Would really like to hear someone defend these folks given the situation we all are in.

You can stand me at the gates of hell, but I wont back down.

OMG I am with you there... We are considering the possiblilty of us having to postpone our 'big wedding' and just have a simple small one when he gets here. So frustrating when everything is up in the air! Deep breath in and smile big right?? At least we are lucky and we found the right one to be with for the rest of our lives! (L) If this takes much longer without any news I might just fall completely apart!! lol

I love reading your posts they make me giggle, and NOTHING in this process has made me giggle... let me just add that the USCIS website BITES!!! Our application has been on acceptance since the begining, had an update once and nothing changed!!! UGH!!! I even called them talked to a drone and got nothing... just want something ANYTHING at this point. It would be one thing if EVERYONE was in line and dealing with this, but when so MANY jump line and get approved ahead it is hard to 'keep the faith' in the process....

Cost of application I-129F.......455.00

Cost of documentation gathering......ranges in price

Cost of mailing the packet......ranges in price

Cost of stress, heartache, longing, frustration, and at times anger.....a visit to the funny farm...(okay so several in my case)

Total Cost to have the love of your life....to have that single moment when his arms wrap around you, his lips meet yours, feeling his heart racing against your own.....As he holds you and the release of the breath you have held during the K1 Visa process...

Inconsequential..... The cost long forgotten in that single moment, as no cost would be too much to have the one who is your other half....
