Hi everyone -- April filer here!!! :) We filed on April 12th and our NOA1 date was the 15th. I got the hard copy on the 20th. So excited! My fiance (Julian) and I had planned to file on May 1st 2009 but all sorts of stuff got in the way... there was an illness in his family and all sorts of crazy stuff started to happen and we ended up having a relationship break. :( I thought it was all over but he showed up on January 2nd on my doorstep... Happy New Year indeed! We spent 88 days together here in California and it was incredible, we talked through all the things that had stopped us from moving on. He came to my church with me every week and our pastor said he couldn't wait to bless our marriage. :D

Looking forward to seeing how we all do!

Hi! We filed on April 12th too :) NOA1 date was the 15th as well :))) We need to pray and keep our fingers crossed now!!!

Good luck!

Still waiting for NOA1 letter. I paid with money order.

delivered USPS 4/06/12

signed for 4/09/12

Now 4/28/12

you can always get the receipt of the money order (the portion you kept) and call the 1800 number and they will tell you if the money order has been cashed and what day it has been cashed that is what I did..Then once I realized the money order had been cashed I called the number for USCIS 1800 375-5283 and they will ask u has it been 30 days and say yes *WINK* and tell them that you have not received a receipt yet....they will more than likely tell you the day they received it and give you the receipt number starting with WAC.......but if you dont tell them that it has been more than 30days they will not forward your call in fact you need to listen to the prompts and choose the one that say you dont have the receipt number you will then talk to a live person and that is when you tell that person that it has been 30days even given them a date 30 days ago they will look in the computer and tell you all the info you need to know up until this point and once you get the receipt number you can go to USCIS.gov and sign up for email and text notifications. I assume on ur timeline of mailing the items you mean the year 2010 and not 2012......GOOD luck!!!!

Hey All,

Were are also in the same boat as you...the April CSC boat.

From what I have seen, CSC has made good strides in speeding up there processing (much better than VSC). I say this after studying the VJ data...but I guess the jury is still out. However, I am not sure how VJ figures the NOA2 estimate they list on our timeline. It does not seem to correspond with similar timelines data like ours.

I am seeing if no problems come up, that it will be about middle to high forties for days between NOA1 and NOA2.

Well, I think we have reason to think that CSC is faster than they were back in Jan. or Feb. Just look at the graph at this link http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1historical

See "Step 2: I-129F Processing Time at Service Centers --> I-129F NOA1 to NOA2 (Approval) Time "

Notice how the graph has sloped down. In Jan and Feb is looks to be around 90 days but now it says 58.

Also, if you do a search on actual data VJers have entered located here http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/filterlist.php , you will find that for

Visa Type : [K1], Service Center : [California Service Center], Beneficiaries Country : [All], Consulate/Embassy : [All], I129F NOA 1 After 2010-01-01, I129F NOA 1 Before 2010-03-15, Local Office : [All]

you get

i129fjantomar.jpg

and the other

Search result for

Visa Type : [K1], Service Center : [California Service Center], Beneficiaries Country : [All], Consulate/Embassy : [All], I129F NOA 1 After 2010-03-01, I129F NOA 1 Before 2010-06-05, Local Office : [All]

i129fmartojune.jpg

I see a definite trend in CSC approving the I-129F faster now compared to before....this assumes that the data VJers are entering is accurate. I am guessing that most of the data can be trusted. With large enough sample as we see, I believe it shows a definite trend towards it being faster while also showing it is quicker by about 7 days. Also note that 39 and 46 days we see in these pics are much less than the estimate given on this page http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1historical

Why the big difference of 58 days compared to 39 or 46? I don't really know.

Even if there is a disparity, I do see that CSC is faster now compared to a few months ago.

Well I hope so..because that means ours would be getting approved also...assuming we don't have an RFE.

You know, our profile timeline says this right now "Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between May 29, 2010 and June 15, 2010*."

I have seen it change every once in a while but in every case these dates look to far into the future when one considers the graphs and data I talk about in my previous post...I rather base my hopes for a sooner approval on the graphs and data haha.

If it happens that way the NOA2 should come about middle to later May for my Babe and I.
