Received NOA2 yesterday in the mail I didnt realize it because I just sat the mail on the table I was just cleaning off my table today and there it was...... I do have a question it says that the approval is valid from 6-14-2010 to 10-10-10 now that means I have to have my interview before the 10th of October or it will expire? can someone answer this one?

it looks just like the NOA1 it has the Receipt date Notice date Petitioners and beneficiaries name.... Then it says notice type which mine states approval notice and under the notice type it state valid from 6-11-2010 to 10-10-2010 then the body states:

The above petition has been approved. We have sent the original visa petition to the department of state National visa center. (it then gives the address to the NVC)The USCIS has completed all action, further inquiries should be directed to the NVC.

The NVC now processes all approved fiance petitions. The NVC processing should be completed withing two to four weeks after receiving the petition from USCIS. The NVC will create a case record with your petition information. NVC will then send the petition to the U.S. embassy or consulate where your fiance will be interviewed for his or her visa.

You will receive notification by mail when NVC has sent your petition to the U.S. embassy or consulate. The notification letter will provide you with a unique number for your case and the name and address of the U.S. embassy or consulate where your petition has been sent.

If it has been more than 4 weeks since you received this approval notice and you have not received notification from NVC that your petition is being forwarded overseas please call the NVC 603.334.0700. Please call between 8am and 645pm EST you will need to enter the receipt number from the approval notification

That is the notice in its entirety i hope that helps you Popcorn Also FYI the notice is very light I can barely read mind it looks as if the ink was running out on the printer they printed the notice on and the person didnt change the ink and reprint so it is really hard for me to read it I had to put it under a bright light to see what it says

patient2010 how do you know the NVC got your case and your case number? We got our NOA2 on the same day and I got the hard copy of my NOA2 on 6/18 but haven't heard anything from NVC. Is there a website to check?

Ok just read through past post, found the number and called to check. They haven't gotten it yet but no big deal since my hunny and I are going on vacation for the next two weeks so this just buys us more time. Keep you posted though when NVC gets and processes my case

Still nothing, no touches at all. I'm trying to stay really positive though and it looks like my fiance is going to be coming over for a short visit in a couple of weeks! Come on, CSC!!! We want more NOA2s!!!

JazzKat call tomorrow they should have it by now did u call on the weekend? I dont think they are there on the weekend you need to speak to a live person. When i called on june 18th they had just gotten my case that day I spoke with someone live and she gave me my case number....I will call tomorrow to see if they have sent it to Nigeria.....Have fun on vacation here is the NVC number in case you need it 603.334.0700

I know it is hard but you will get some movement on your case this week not everybody receive touches before they are approved some people just get the email and txt that they have been approved so ur time is this week I believe hang in there

Oh, I heard and asked many people that as long as your above poverty line, you won't need a statement from you bank...just what people already through the process have told me Good Luck
