Truth and fact are two different facets. There's truth in the story of Goldie Locks and the Three Bears, but we all know it's not factual. The story of Creation, for many Christians is just that - an allegorical story that speaks great Truth, but it isn't factual.

So to answer your question - how do you prove a 'truth'? Truth isn't rooted in evidence, but in human logic and reasoning. Murder is morally wrong - that is a truth that we can arrive at from logic and reason.
