I am trying to prepare my fiance the best I can for what is coming up with her interview. The good thing is, I will go to the interview with her, but I want to hear from those who have "survived" the Kiev embassy.

Please let me know what to expect. Any unknown information also. I hear there is 4 pretty standard questions they ask. What are they?

Hi,

I will also be going through Kiev for my K-1. I have several friends that have gone through there, all say that the staff is very helpful, and professional. Nobody had any problems, one girl got her K-1 visa two different times, sponcored by the same guy, they did not even question what happened the first time (they ended up not getting married first time). Anyways, this will be my first K-1 interview there, but I have received my student and my work visa through Kiev, no problems! I would not worry, if everything is in order, your fiancee should get her visa with no problems. They will ask how you met, and your fiancee will need to bring proof of continuing relationship. Most of my friends' interview lasted about 2 min. Good luck to you and your fiancee!

Julia, "cpasiba" :-)

I have heard good things about the Kiev Embassy. I know my fiance is very nervious (so am I), but I also know it is simply a matter of showing them the correct papers.

I will pass on your words to her.

"Poka",

Justin
