Hey - that's great news.

If you don't want to wait on the SSN card - you can go to a SSA office and apply in person.

If the clerk mumbles something about 'DHS Electronic Verification' - get a supervisor, ask the supervisor to look you up, in yer VISA name, with the SAVE database.

Good Luck !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

You need to go the SS ovvice for the SS card, then you can deal with the drivers licence/State ID... Be sure to notify the bank once you have the SS# so they can add it to the accounts... And I would seriously consider trying to establish some credit for your spouse... A secured credit card or something as it will definetly come into play in the future...
