Smoking is not the relevant issue here, self control is. Plain and simple. He could have done a number of things to "ring the bell" on an aircraft, as proven over and over again.

Actually, smoking is the only relevant issue here as that is the only crime he commited. Smoking on an airplne is a federal offense.

Wow... what an idiot....Wondering if he got immunity for the infraction or will get PNG'd (Persona non Grata).

Glad to hear the Diplomatic corp is intact, at least from suspicious (terrorism related) activity!!! :thumbs:

If the diplomatic corp is represented by this guy, we're all in trouble. He was a young Arab guy from the Middle East trained as a diplomat but doesn't know how act on an international flight of all places.
