Can anybody tell me how long it generaly take after OPTIN sign in for Montreal to get E-Doc confirmation? Its been two weeks and I have not received anything yet. Shall I go ahead and mail hard copies even though NVC discouraged it? Has anybody done that yet? wt was the result.

thanksgu

It's NVC that will respond but if you don't get the autoresponse, I would send again. After they acknowledge you sent them an email, you should get a new case number and confirmation you're opted in in 8 to 10 days.

I've gotten conflicting information concerning the automated response. My wife e-mailed the D-3023 and never received an auto-response, so two days later, I forwarded her initial e-mail with an explanation and had her send another one in. No auto-response for either. I then had three friends in different parts of the country send in e-mails that simply said "Test", and none of them received an auto-response. However, I DID receive e-mail confirmation a week or so later (personalized response), that I had been assigned as my wife's agent of choice. Very strange.

I probably jumped the gun on this but called today to inquire, particularly about the IV bill etc. They advised that they had no record of the DS3032 nor the OPTIN which I had done on Mar 30th. NVC told me to resend which I did today. But probably it's related to a delay and that's it. So I may or may not be helping our cause by sending duplicate emails. They'll likely send something in the next few days. It's been about 8 days.

There is very little support or information available from NVC other than decent information and people's experiences here at VJ.

Good luck and keep posting.

Hi All thanks for the info. We got the confirmation automated email when we OPTIN but since then never received confirmation about 15 days now and still counting. I spoke with NVC and told them that this process is no way faster than mailing process. Otherwise we would have done with our paper work already . It takes one day for Fedex or UPS. They just mislead us by saying in the AOS fee letter that OPTIN can reduce the time by 60%. Ya Good Luck!
