Hello!

I am a bit worried because I had just my interview last April 5, 2010 but then they didn't return or give me back my original documents like my birth certificate, NBI clearance, etc. and my question is, what are the requirements in CFO? Do they need those documents??? coz if so, pls inform me ASAP... any help is highly appreciated... thanks.. :)

By the way, how can I view the answers of my topic because last time, I posted a topic here but then I don't know where to find it because as what i have noticed, I am a JUNIOR MEMBER now, and there were changes happened. Unlike when I was a newbie, I know where to find the answers of my topic that i posted but now I am confused and don't know where to find it.. can you help me with this too? Thanks...

First of all, you won't receive those documents back. Which is why we suggest when you apply for them you obtain a few extra copies.

Secondly, the CFO stamp is acquired after a successful interview, and you have physically received the visa. You then fill out an online form, take the visa with you to the CFO location, sit through a briefing, and then they stamp your passport. Without it, you can't fly, visa or not.

Here is the link to the CFO website. They operate Monday through Friday, in the morning and afternoon, so it's easy to catch them. The actual requirements are clearly posted there.

18-Nov-10 - Approved

You might not have been able to find your posting and the responses or answers if you posted in the wrong forum. Then a mod or person of authority would have moved your posting to a more appropriate forum to keep it organized and hopefully get you the best responses.

I believe you posted this is K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures which is really for I-129F or maybe questions before an I-129F is filed as well as issues with the USCIS in general.

Your question is about the K-1 interview, visa approval and so on which actually should be filed under this main Forum area: Family & Marriage Based Immigration (K1, K3, IR1, etc) to the USA

HOWEVER: better placed under Consulate and Embassy Discussion as that is what you are dealing with and that is where you are in the process.

Good luck

Topic has indeed been moved from the K-1 forum to the US Consulate and Embassy Forum as a more appropriate location for this discussion, however, a link has been left in the original location that should lead you to this new location.

If you wish to find out where previous posts you have made have been moved you can go to your personal profile information and look for the box that says 'find topics' or 'find posts'. When you click on that it will show you all of the posts or topics you have made in the last 6 months.
