BILLINGS, Mont. – Glacier National Park has lost two more of its namesake moving icefields to climate change, which is shrinking the rivers of ice until they grind to a halt, a government researcher said Wednesday.

Warmer temperatures have reduced the number of named glaciers in the northwestern Montana park to 25, said Dan Fagre, an ecologist with the U.S. Geological Survey. He warned the rest of the glaciers may be gone by the end of the decade.

"When we're measuring glacier margins, by the time we go home the glacier is already smaller than what we've measured," Fagre said.

I dont know about glacier national park, but climate change being a hoax.. well thats just BS. The climate is obviously changing..

What is a scam are all these "green" companies that are using the fact that things are changing to make money doing exactly what they did before.

I am not saying mankind is the sole reason for the changes, i actually believe we have had less impact than alot of of these scientist say, but at the same time, things are chainging and there is absolutly no doubt about that.. I have seen it with my own eyes.. I mapped part of a glacier in iceland and it had indeed receeded...

But how can the loss of millions of acres of forest and the constant polluting of oceans not have an impact.?
