I noticed that when I was reviewing the Citizenship N400 from, they have a questions about hair color. -I answered black on that.

Right now, my hair has some blonde highlights on it.

Is this going to be problem if i send them my passport photo if the hair thats shown on the passport has some color other than black?

Please advise..

Thanks to all..

If you're hair has SOME blond highlights and is still black it should be ok. If it's totally blond, I would die it back. On my GC journey when filling out the I-485 based on marriage we had to submit photos of us together. One of the photos had my wife's hair bleach blond...the rest show her as her normal brown. My attorney recommended that we not send that particular photo in. So, black with highlights should be ok. If it is a completly different color in its entirety I would change it back.

Your IO is the judge and jury regarding if your passport photo is acceptable or not, now that is really difficult to determine. So told my wife to chose her interview clothing and took her passport photo wearing that with her hair fixed the same way. But who knows for sure? Would be a shame to make that long trip and be rejected because of your passport photo.
