Help please, Fiancee not allowed to board flight

Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Is a visa required for just changing flights in Paris and if so, How to obtain that?

My fiancee is at the airport now...... is a Pakistan Passport Holder and got the K1 visa

You apply through the government for a transit visa by filing for one, kinda same process for the K-1 but not as long lol. A lot of countrys require this for people from certain countrys, not uncommon. He may want to book a different flight if hes really keen on leaving for the US quickly.

I couldn't find out the exact situation your fiance is in (coming to US from Pakistan via France), but yes, it appears that citizens of Pakistan are required to hold a transit visa for France even if they don't leave the airport area. While the attached link is for Pakistan citizens living in the US to get the transit visa in the US, I would think the process would be the same for your fiance in Pakistan - he needs to apply to the French Consulate responsible for Pakistan for a transit visa that will allow him to land in France and continue his flight to the US. Here is the link - it does contain what he needs to do in order to get the transit visa. It appears he will not be able to take the flight he is currently booked on. Perhaps there is some way of re-scheduling it for a later date after he gets the visa or finding another flight that is direct to the US or lands in a country where he does not require a transit visa.

Ok, so here's an update, I paid the additional fare of nearly $900, flying her nearly direct and avoiding France, to the USA. The good news, she'll be flying business class all the way here, if nothing else, it'll be nice for the inconvenience. I just talked with her, for the most part, she's doing ok.

She's set to arrive April 12th, after our set wedding date........ we have no choice but to delay the wedding for a few days, it was not meant to be a huge affair but now it'll likely be smaller. We're both feeling odd as our visa process was relatively smooth, now this makes me wonder about "fate" Ah well, but I guess it's my mistake for not even thinking the pseudo transit in France could be an issue at all.
