I will be POEing on the 13th at the Edmonton Airport. My flight leaves at 06:45 so I was planning on getting there a bit earlier than the 2hr before international flight that is recommended, but when I asked at the info desk they said that US customs generally won't let anyone thru earlier than 2hrs prior to their flight. So I don't want to get there too early...especially at 4 in the AM if I am not going to be processed. Guess a call to US customs at the airport is in order!!

great to here all the news.

and yes like huggles says..when you apply for a visa march of last year..and more than a year later you finally get it...lol i was ready to go home along time ago..i missed my david and both my dogs. you have to remember..david was taking care of them..i did not see them for an entire year..they were still puppies when i gave them to him.

Not sure if anyone has received their visa's yet, but mine came today, so hopefully all the March 30th crew has or will be getting theirs within the next day or 2! Considering I had it sent out to Alberta from Montreal AND it was a long weekend...a gold star goes out to Canada Post. I have always had decent luck with canada post....knock on wood!!!

We got it today! It turned out that is has been in her apartment office since the 8th, they could not find it the first time she checked but after spending time calling the embassy this morning to get the mail date and tracking number and looking it up and then calling the ####### out of her apartment build and making them look for it, It was found and is in her hands now. She will be doing POE next thursday and then staying the night in buffalo with her mom and flying out here the next day on friday the 23rd! so much stress has been lifted it is ridiculous.
