Not sure if anyone has received their visa's yet, but mine came today, so hopefully all the March 30th crew has or will be getting theirs within the next day or 2! Considering I had it sent out to Alberta from Montreal AND it was a long weekend...a gold star goes out to Canada Post. I have always had decent luck with canada post....knock on wood!!!

Hopefully that means that Mathew's will be there soon. His interview was on the 23rd and still no news as to where it's at.

Congrats! I know I felt a huge wave of relief when I actually had the visa in hand ... I'm sure you do, too. Here's hoping everyone else gets theirs soon as well!

Our interview was March 26, and we got our xpresspost yesterday. We had a small issue with Canada Post, but it was resolved. In the end, they delivered our package at 6 am yesterday morning, and it worked out fine. Like Kimbear, we moved last night.

We had a difficult POE experience at the Peace Bridge, but the immigration officer was very nice and that part was super easy. We did not have to go through a search of his belongings. I read a post awhile back where the agent in the booth was insistent that the people activating the visa did not have to go into secondary, and I thought how could that happen? Well, it happened to us. In the end, it was a good thing we knew what we were doing, because the border agent was insistent that we didn't need to go inside, scan his fingerprint, get an I-94, or "activate his visa."

But we're through and he's here officially! what a relief!!

May 7, 2009 - 129F submitted

April 6, 2010 - Visa Delivered/POE (Peace Bridge)

April 23, 2010 - Civil Ceremony

May 1, 2010 - AOS/EAD Application submitted

July 12, 2010 - EAD Approved (Card Production Email #1 at 4:02 pm)

July 26, 2010 - EAD RECEIVED

August 5, 2010 - GREEN CARD APPROVED!!

August 21, 2010 - Green card arrives

November 13, 2010 - Catholic ceremony

July 2, 2012 - ROC submitted to VSC

August 21, 2012 - Biometrics

February 27, 2013 - ROC Approved

Well Kimbear, everyone else seems to be doing fine especially Colleens since she got her visa package yesterday(haha)... stef's doing fine, me and her are both waiting for our packages! I am really happy and excited for your wedding, keep me posted on how it went!

Wow kimbear, you sure didn't waste anytime! I guess when your K-1 almost takes a year you're a little eager to get on with it...

jmd77- How stupid is that? wow. We crossed at the Peace Bridge and had the easiest time ever, but I guess you never know when you'll get someone who has absolutely no idea what he's doing. Congrats on the move! :)
