im confused!!! what is the visa fee for manila embassy?

i am confused on how much to send my fiancee for her visa fee.. i heard its $131 then i hear its $350.. do you guys know which one it is for manila philippines? i checked the philippines embassy website for non immigrant visa's but the page cannot be displayed when i click the visa fee link.

It depends. Some embassies have implemented the new fee. Save for $350 so if it's that you've got enough money and if it's not you get a nice little bonus :). I would wait until she receives her letter though as the money is paid in the local currency and is not always dependant on the CURRENT exchange rate.

The visa fee is only $131 and should be paid at BDO before her interview schedule...

Timeline

January 15, 2010 ---- Sent I-129F to USCIS

January 19, 2010 ---- I-129F received by USCIS

January 20, 2010 ---- Check cashed

January 20, 2010 ---- NOA1

January 26, 2010 ---- Received NOA1 hard copy

February 26, 2010 ---- NOA2

March 1, 2010 ---- Received email from USCIS about the NOA2

March 6, 2010 ---- Received NOA2 hard copy

March 11, 2010 ---- Received NVC letter (hard copy) dated March 6, 2010 in the mail

April 6, 2010 ---- Received USEM letter (hard copy) dated March 18, 2010 in the mail

April 12 & 13, 2010 --- Medical (passed physical exams and given immunizations too)

April 13, 2010 (AM) --- Attended CFO (given the certificate. Will get the Sticker when visa on hand)

April 14, 2010 --- Psyche Evaluation (I was told to call 2-3 days after for the results)

April 19, 2010 --- Called St. Luke's for the results (I passed the evaluation. No more tests)

April 22, 2010 --- Went back to Manila to get my medical results from SLEC (took almost 6 hours just waiting for the release!)

April 26, 2010 (7:00 A.M.)---- Interview Schedule (I got not pink nor blue slip, but a Reverification Form for NSO to send directly to USEM my CENOMAR and Annotated Marriage Certificate, although I have submitted and given these to the Consul during the interview, so why? I don't know! And told me that as soon as NSO forwarded the requested documents, visa will be delivered. Oh well...)

April 27, 2010 ---- Went home

April 28, 2010 ---- Ordered online the documents USEM requested

Looks like you and my Wilma are just a day apart. She's starting St Lukes on April 14, and her interview is April 27.. Maybe you guys might bump into each other....She's getting soooooo Nervous.... Good luck on your medical next week!! :)

When we pay to the BDO for the embassy, we paid 6, 026 pesos if I am not mistaken.. By the way I had my interview last April 5, 2010 and I received the PINK SLIP which means that I passed??? hehehe

It depends on what province she came from. I am from Cebu, I paid 253 pesos for my visa delivery...

Yes it is still US$131 visa fee for Manila, Philippines and also US$213.35 for medical fee hehe. http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3238.html . congratulations!

2010-02-01 : Interview Date (Approved!)

2010-02-06 : Visa Received

2010-02-15 : US Entry

2010-03-04: SSN received

2010-05-01 : Wedding day!

Comments : smooth sailing, thanks visa journey!

AOS timeline:

2010-05-06 : AOS package sent

2010-05-07 : received and signed (USCIS Chicago lockbox)

2010-05-13 : check cashed

2010-05-17 : received NOA1 in the mail for I-485, I-765 and I-131

2010-06-23 : received approved I-131

2010-07-01 : received notice for biometrics on 7/20/10

2010-07-20 : biometrics done

2010-07-21 : I-765 Employment Authorization approved! Card production ordered

2010-07-30 : I-765 Card on hand ( wohoo )

2010-09-03 : Interview sched (had to resched coz we're out of town)

2010-10-18 : Interview...approved with no problem! card production ordered (YES!)
