I got extension first too. It seems that this is the regular procedure.But it has been reported that some applicants never received it and just received the Biometrics letter.

But that is not usual.

pls help...do i need to change my address now ? we will move to North Carolina end of this month. what u guys think?

I would wait until you really move to change the address.

There is no way that you can get your mail at the old address after you move, maybe somebody get it and forward it to you?

just until you receive the biometrics appointments?

I think I would wait...

And ask somebody to het it for me, so this way you do not take the risk to miss your appointment date, or have your bio letter lost in the mail...I don't know...I would not take the chance.

My check has still not been cashed. Wonder what the hold up is. Post office tracking says they received it Friday morning and now it's Wed.... you would think they would not be holding on to checks.

Dec 14, 2007 received hard copy NOA2 approval in the mail

Dec 14, 2007 called NVC said our case had been received and already sent to the New Zealand consulate in Aukland!!!! Whoohoo!!!

Dec 24, 2007 Fiance received packet #3 from Auckland Consulate WOOOOHOOOOOO!!! Merry Christmas to us!!!

Dec 29, 2007 Fiance completed packet 3 and sent to Consulate.

January 2, 2008? (checking the date) Consualte received packet 3 back

Hello everyone,

It's been a long time since I posted. My husband and I are getting ready to send in our I-751. If anyone thinks that we don't have enough information, please respond with ideas of other things we can send. I am getting worried that we may not have enough. Here is what we are sending so far:

Form and payment

Copy (front and back of green card)

Jointly signed lease

Letter from bank listing our joint accounts

Several checking account statements showing joint account--from every 4th month since we opened account 2 years ago

Several visa card statements showing joint account--from every 4th month since we opened account 2 years ago

Copy of actual Visa cards

IRS transcripts for 2008 and 2009

Current health insurance policy and copy of actual cards. The statement also lists me as his beneficiary

Former health insurance statement that listed him as a dependent before he had a job and we went on to his (better) insurance

Copies of cards mailed to both of us in past 2 years

Vacation reservations, plane tickets, train tickets from past 2 years

Pictures (I have quite a bit of these from last 2 years--church wedding, vacations, holiday and family pics)

Sworn affidavits from friends

Here are my issues- Our utility bills are paid on line. The ones we are responsible for, as we have some utilities included in our rent, are in my name. I outlined the payment of these bills on the joint bank account statements we're submitting. Would that be considered evidence of us having financial/living ties? If this isn't good enough, what could I send instead? My husband doesn't have any bills that are mailed just to him. His cell phone is a work phone, so he doesn't even have a bill like that.

Also, we don't have any car insurance policy, as we don't have a car. We live in the center of the city where it is very difficult to own and park a car. Is this something I should explain, or is the evidence I mentioned we're submitting sufficient? Just looking at what we have and wondering if it is good enough. I think you're fine, you're showing joing finances (credit card, bank account, IRS and lease) and you have a joint health coverage.

You can't invent what you don't have after all.

Edit: from reading the pinned post about what an agent said was evidence. Utility bills are kind of secondary because anyone can add their name without proof being requested. If you can print a copy of an online bill it would add to it but what you already have shows more and in more official than any utility bill can ever be.

I did not bother to send any photos of us (I sent tons back in the day for the K-1, but did not think it was necessary now) I did send plenty from the list though, you think its ok?

We sent:

Joint tax returns for 2008 and 2009

Life Insurance policys showing each other as beneficiaries.

Letter from my employer showing my husband as beneficiary from my 401k and pension

Copy of our lease agreement with both our signatures

Joint bank accounts statements for 2 checking and 2 savings accounts in both our names

Car insuranace policies showing both of us listed on it.

Travel airline reservation/ receipt from Jet Blue from vacation to Florida

3 sworn affedavids, 2 from my parents who we lived with for a while and 1 from a good friend.

Copy of our medical insurance showing both of us under my plan and listed on the flexible spending account.

You think it was enough? We don't have much more than that, I did not bother with pics this time, we don't take many and when we do I hate the way I look! lol

We sent I-751 to CSC on 04/13/2010. NOA receipt date was 04/15/2010, and check was cashed on 04/16/2010.
