Just got some bad news in the mail today, three months after I had biometrics done, they finally sent me an letter saying the FBI were unable to read my fingerprints and I have to go have them done again! They have scheduled my appointment for Sept 22 at 11:00 a.m. but we will be on vacation. We will actually be in the city where the Service Centre is (a two hour drive from us) the 20th and 21st for other appointments before we had out on vacation. I hate to just show up for an early biometrics in case they won't do it. I guess I will write them a letter asking them to reschedule it for one of the days we will be there. How frustrating!!!!! Now we know why I wasn't getting my approval email like every one else around me.

Had my fingerprints re-done on Monday 20th, will see how long it takes for me to get approved now!!!!!

12/24/2021 - Appeal sent back with I-912 waiver

12/24/2021 - Motion to terminate deportation proceedings from 2013 filed

The service request I put in on Nov 8th must have got them moving, finally got my approval letter in the mail (no email received though and uscic webite is still not showing the approval). Decision date November 18/10

Hello guys! I just want to tell the good news to everybody tonight. We had our interview last Friday at 9:00 am. I gathered all the documents we needed to prove that our marriage is geniune and that we live in the same house all these years. i had also 5 or six photos with me but carry my usb card just in case the officer would want more photos from us. Finally we we're called and were asked to sworn that we can only answer the truth and nothing else. As soon as me and my husband were seated the immigration officer told us that as soon as he saw us he believe that he are still married and that he don't really need to question us anymore. He said that he's in an officer for quite a while and doing the same job all over again is an easy task for him to see whose marriage is falling apart or not. We told him about our experience during the first year of being together that my husband lost his job and it was a rough yr for both of us. The Officer was pleased to hear the story he said it only proves that for better of for worse, we will always be there for each other and he wish us luck.

Now I am just waiting for my 10 yr GC and he told me that I can apply for citizenship in yr 2011!
