For what it's worth: just now I received another "card production ordered" email, this time for the 26th. LUD is also updated, now has todays date on it (27th).

From what I can tell this kind of thing seems to happen a lot, so I'm just going to wait and see what comes in the mail. You'd think they have all these "glitches" figured out by now ;).

Anyway, once again: good luck to everybody still waiting! :)

When u said "this time for the 26th", did u mean ur new card production ordered date is july 26th? And also, does that mean when you got the first card production ordered e-mail ur LUD remained 6/26?...till today?

Why can't they send card production ordered e-mail one for each person, rather than 2 for some and nothing for folks like me? lol.... USCIS sucks!

The email and the LUD have todays date (July 27). However, the card production date that's mentioned in the aforementioned email is July 26th. In other words: they (supposedly) ordered card production yesterday (for the second time), but I didn't receive the update until today.

I know: USCIS processes are mind-boggling sometimes, I try to just go with their flow knowing that I won't have to deal with them anymore for a while (hopefully). Just crossing my fingers now that they actually send the card out, with the correct information...;)

I called USCIS today to check my stutus and demanded to be transfered to an IO. I was transfered and I asked the IO to check my status for me...I explained how the online system is unreliable and that even if it's saying "initial review" we still would like to check it with an IO. I told her of how some ppl were sent RFE (even though online status was saying initial review) and they didnt' recieve it in the mail and they later found out that their case was denied due to not responding to the RFE. So she was like "as long as u have ur address current with us, u shouldn't worry about that...every case is different." She was hesitant to check it but finally agreed to do so and asked for some info about me and finally she said...."everything is fine with your case." and i was like.." so there's nothing sent to me in the mail? that's what I want to make sure" ...and she said..."No."

hmmmmmmmm

Never hurts to call I guess because what you described happened to me during my AOS: they RFE'ed me and I never received the letter. I wasted a lot of time (3 or 4 months) during that process because the online system said everything was still in review (I guess you really can't trust the online tool).

But in your case: there are still a bunch of filers in April who haven't heard anything yet either. You're not outside the norm, so I'd say your case is still in good shape (especially now that you have an officer confirming that everything is fine).

I hope so Elementum. I think the IO could have given me a lil bit of a specific info. One of the march filers (who had a touch on 6/26) talked with an IO at an infopass today and the IO told him that they were selected for interview. C, that is a real status check. Now I don't know how to interpret the "everything is fine with ur case" thing. It sounds good, but not that helpful in telling me what exactly my status is. I've seen some may filers being approved already, so by now, if no RFE or interview letter is sent to me, I guess I should expect approval soon. I'm sick and tired of this! And the irony of it is, it seems like the more impatient you become, the longer it takes...and the more patient you are like you Elementum, the sooner it comes. So I guess I better be patient before it goes to 6 months.

August 2007 received NOA1 with receipt date of July 31, 2007

Dec 10, 2007 received email notification that NOA2 approval notice has been sent and petition approved!!!!!!!!!

Dec 14, 2007 received hard copy NOA2 approval in the mail

Dec 14, 2007 called NVC said our case had been received and already sent to the New Zealand consulate in Aukland!!!! Whoohoo!!!

Dec 24, 2007 Fiance received packet #3 from Auckland Consulate WOOOOHOOOOOO!!! Merry Christmas to us!!!

Dec 29, 2007 Fiance completed packet 3 and sent to Consulate.

January 2, 2008? (checking the date) Consualte received packet 3 back

What is wrong with California service center for April and May? This is making me nervous because I am with CSC for June :angry: I hope all of you April and May CSC people get moving, this is ridiculous :angry:
