Just a quick note, the perm. green card arrived in the mail yesterday. Husband and I are thrilled! :dance::dance::dance: no more USCIS till 2020!

K-1 Fiance Visa

July 21, 2007 I29F sent to Vermont Service Center

July 24, 2007 packet received and signed for

August 2007 received NOA1 with receipt date of July 31, 2007

Dec 10, 2007 received email notification that NOA2 approval notice has been sent and petition approved!!!!!!!!!

Dec 14, 2007 received hard copy NOA2 approval in the mail

Dec 14, 2007 called NVC said our case had been received and already sent to the New Zealand consulate in Aukland!!!! Whoohoo!!!

Dec 24, 2007 Fiance received packet #3 from Auckland Consulate WOOOOHOOOOOO!!! Merry Christmas to us!!!

Dec 29, 2007 Fiance completed packet 3 and sent to Consulate.

January 2, 2008? (checking the date) Consualte received packet 3 back

January 3, 2008 Medical

January 7, 2008 Inoculations

January 8, 2008 Received letter with interview date from Consulate!!

Jan 31, 2008 Interview scheduled

Jan 21, 2008 Visa approved!!!!!!!!!!

I-751 (remove conditions to receive perm green card)

04/14/10 Application to remove conditions sent

04/30/10 NOA1 received

05/17/10 Early Bio walk in (went smoothly no problems)

05/27/10 Biometrics scheduled - did not need to attend b/c he went early

07/07/10 Application Approved Card Production ordered email!!!!WOOHOO

07/14/10 Official approval letter -snail mail

07/19/10 Green card received Happy dance!!!! No more USCIS till 2020!

LIz Leija, sorry for such question, but are you SURE you got approved today? What does your card production ordered date say? Cause if u're approved today, then that means I still have hope for my approval to come soon. Out of all the people who had touch on june 26, only me and elementem has left and i was thinking may be they skipped us or something. So if u can assure me u got the card production ordered message today, then i'm gonna be hopeful the whole week. And one more Q, what is ur LUD saying now? still 6/26 or today's date? Thanks in advance!

LIz Leija, sorry for such question, but are you SURE you got approved today? What does your card production ordered date say? Cause if u're approved today, then that means I still have hope for my approval to come soon. Out of all the people who had touch on june 26, only me and elementem has left and i was thinking may be they skipped us or something. So if u can assure me u got the card production ordered message today, then i'm gonna be hopeful the whole week. And one more Q, what is ur LUD saying now? still 6/26 or today's date? Thanks in advance!

I agree with JaEnglishGirl: I don't know if there's any significance between the touches on 6/26 and the VSC approvals so far. My guess is no, since those approvals are all spread out over a longer timeframe (some people approved very quickly after the 6/26 touch, others weeks later).

Having said that, I understand blesseddude's anxiousness...

Happy seeing so many people approved so fast, just makes the waiting game for the (now) minority that haven't heard anything yet a little more difficult ;).

JaEnglishGirl...I agree...it did add a lot to my pain!!!

Elementum...I kind of saw a pattern after the 6/26 touches. yes, even though some were approved right after the touch, and some weeks after, still there're more or less in the order of NOA-1 dates. But when the approvals for those who had touch suddenly jumped to the folks down the list (e.g. CB82), I started to worry. And JaEnglishGirl, since ur last on the list, ur touch wouldn't have invalidated my "theory." But now that I see Liz Lija is approved a week AFTER CB82 and the others, my "theory" is useless & am glad to find out that it is. The other thing I realized is that since there are over 30k ROC applicants in april, probably thousands had a touch on that same day. Thus, there will definitely be irregularities in the approvals.

Hopefully, we'll hear something soon too.

If you are really worried, I would give USCIS a call and ask to sepak to a supervisor or better still and officer. The officer was the only one who corrected the address that was wrong for so long!!! It's worth the call to make sure something is not a miss like a stupid typo on their end :)

Dec 10, 2007 received email notification that NOA2 approval notice has been sent and petition approved!!!!!!!!!

Dec 14, 2007 received hard copy NOA2 approval in the mail

Dec 14, 2007 called NVC said our case had been received and already sent to the New Zealand consulate in Aukland!!!! Whoohoo!!!

Dec 24, 2007 Fiance received packet #3 from Auckland Consulate WOOOOHOOOOOO!!! Merry Christmas to us!!!

Dec 29, 2007 Fiance completed packet 3 and sent to Consulate.

January 2, 2008? (checking the date) Consualte received packet 3 back

January 3, 2008 Medical

January 7, 2008 Inoculations

January 8, 2008 Received letter with interview date from Consulate!!

Jan 31, 2008 Interview scheduled

Jan 21, 2008 Visa approved!!!!!!!!!!
