APRIL I-751 Filers

So I received a 2nd appointment notice this morning, for the 11th this time (the first is for the 7th).

At first glance it looks exactly the same, same appointment location, same bar code number. I had to head out to work so I didn't have time to look at it in details, but has anyone heard of this?

We had the same problem! We received a second bio apt with a different date. You need to call USCIS and ask for an OFFICER. He told us to ignore the second apt. Also, he discovered why we never got our original NOA! in the mail, there is a typo on USCIS's part!!!! They mis-spelled our street name!!! He corrected it for us in the system, but I suggest you call and make sure all is ok. My hubby alreday had an early bio on Monday, so we knew something was screwey.

I think I'll just show up to the first appointment with both letters, especially if they told you to ignore the 2nd one.

I'm glad you got an answer about the NOA. Are they sending you one now?

Which number did you call? 1-800-375-5283?

I haven't received anything even though my check has been cashed. I tried to call the number above, but it was automated, so I couldn't talk to an OFFICER.

How did you get appointment notice if they had wrong address in their system?

so here's the deal, we got the bio apt. letter despite the address being wrong, it sound like out street sorta... and our post office got it to us... they put OVNE. Court, instead of DUNE CT. And OVNE does not exist as a street! I let the post office know that USCIS has goofed up, so if they have mailed anything else hopefully it gets to us, but I did have the officer make the change in the system, so hopefully things will start printing correctly now.

as for the phone number, yes that is the number. You have to chose the option that says you have a case pending and there is a problem. than intead of picking he option for your receipt #, you pick the option that say you LOST your receipt number. than you get customer service, and they ask a bunch of questions, be sure the applicant is there with you and you have his/her A number and receipt if possible. After you answer their numerous repetative questions, INSIST you speak to an officer. Even if they tell you that you have to wait 30 days.... you must be persistant and tell them no, you need to speak with officer. That worked for us, the other times I got supervisor (before I knew officers existed) and while the supervisors are WAY more helpful than base line agents, none of them caught the typo except the officer!!! and he told me after that that if we have any more issues to tell customer service you wish to speak to an officer.

Thank you so much. That helps a lot, but gosh speaking to an officer sounds like a pain...

Funny thing is that I just got biometrics notice today. Yes, correct address and all. I am not sure what happened to the NOA1. I guess it just happens.

Hi Cecy,

We also received a second appointment letter this afternoon. The first one is for 5-28 and the second one is for 06-03. I called the USCIS but they close at 8pm Central time so I will call back tomorrow again. Also, unfortunately in our local office (San Antonio) they do not accept walk ins on biometrics so we would just have to wait for our appointment date, and hopefully they disregard the second letter.

I'm updating my biometrics appointment. I got 1 appointment notice for June 3rd and got a 2nd yesterday that was moved to June 8th.
