:blink:A quick update, Yesterday I received a form I797 requesting more evidence. I don't know what else to send because I sentd everything I had like Tax Returns( 3 years) car insurance with both of our names, utility bills with both of our names, birth certificate of our son, Sworn Affidavits by 2 friends, Health Insurance cards copy me listed on his insurance, lease with both our name on it, bank account info. I don't know what else to send. :(

Hmmm. you received a RFE before you even got the NOA1? From looking at other timelines most people that receive a RFE don't get one until some time after they had their biometrics apt. Has anybody heard of this happening?

BTW I realize this as I'm typing it: the NOA1 does ask to send in supporting evidence, but only if you haven't already submitted it. Are you sure we are talking about a request for additional evidence and not just the NOA1?

The letter I received was a I-797 asking to submit more evidence and send back with the letter they sent.

Hmm... are you sure it's an RFE? The NOA#1 they send out says to send more info if it wasn't included with your application. That may seem a little misleading.

The letter I received was a I-797 asking to submit more evidence and send back with the letter they sent.

Not to belabor the point, but the NOA1 is also a I-797. Does it start with "your conditional resident status is extended for a period of one year?"

If so, then it's the NOA1, not a RFE.

If it really isn't the NOA1, I'm sure a lot of people will be curious to know what the letter in question does say (including me), would you care to elaborate? I have not seen a case receive a RFE before even receiving a NOA1 or a biometrics appointment, so this would be a new thing (anyone?).

:blink:A quick update, Yesterday I received a form I797 requesting more evidence. I don't know what else to send because I sentd everything I had like Tax Returns( 3 years) car insurance with both of our names, utility bills with both of our names, birth certificate of our son, Sworn Affidavits by 2 friends, Health Insurance cards copy me listed on his insurance, lease with both our name on it, bank account info. I don't know what else to send. :(

I am pretty sure this was the NOA1.

Did it say it was extending your stay for a year?
