Hi I filed a k-1 i-129 for my fiance in feburary, 2010 and it was received feb. 18 and my check was cashed feb. 22 I filed at california center and was wondering do they send case number or confirmation, because it is 1.5 months and I havent heard a word.

How do I contact them if I dont have case number, or should I just wait for them to contact me?

If you can look at the electronic image of your check on your banks website, look at the back of the check to find the case number (it should begin with WAC). You can then sign up online at the USCIS website for updates. You might want to use the contact info on the website to make sure they have the correct address in the system - it's a bit odd that you haven't yet received an NOA1 (notice of action - receipt) from USCIS yet.

2 March 2010: NOA2 (116 days)

14 April 2010: Interview (159 days) Approved!!

30 April 2010: Married!

AoS

18 May 2010: NOA1 for AoS, EAD and AP

8 June 2010: Case transferred to CSC

10 June 2010: Biometrics completed

31 July 2010: EAD and AP received!

9 Sept. 2010: RFE email for AoS

(RFE for medical. We replied with letter stating that it's not required since done overseas within one year)

18 January 2010: Interview - passed! Card production ordered!

You should have received a notice of receipt by now. I have never seen anyone waiting this long to receive their initial confirmation of a filing, at least the I-129.

01/05/12 - Mailed I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions.

01/09/12 - Petiton arrived us VSC.

11/15/12 - Wife Received ten year PR Card.
