The woman he's been speaking to told him that at any given point they have 10 full bins of mail in the mailroom so it takes time to sort through it all. Maybe they haven't seen it yet. But it was signed for by someone at the consulate and has definitely been there since the 9th. So hopefully they'll go looking for it today, find it, and then let us know.

I'll just die if they request him to bring another envelope to the consulate so they can mail it back out instead of just handing it to him while he's there.

I just hope they don't try and use the same one. The tracking number on that envelope doesn't work anymore.

USCIS -- ROC package sent off

November 26, 2011 to Vermont station November 30, 2011 received NOA1December 16, 2011 received biometrics appointment.

September 2, 2012, RFE Received.

September 22, 2012 RFE responded to

October 15, 2012 ROC approved, 10 Green card on its way.

Yeah, I'm not sure which part sounds more appealing at the moment. Giving him a huge hug and celebratory ;):wub: , or kicking his hind-end for forgetting something so small as his apartment number.

Oh, I feel SO much better. He actually has the visa in hand now. Now I don't have to worry anymore.

Although, his cat has specific instructions NOT to touch the envelope that says Do Not Open. If she touches it I'll shave her like a poodle.

But let this be a lesson to all those who come after me. WRITE YOUR TRACKING NUMBER DOWN!!! Oh, and make sure the address is correct, lol.

LOL!!! Yes, hopefully nothing wrong goes on from now on!

I actually would say, TYPE your address. I wrote my address correctly but someone in Canada Post mistook my handwritten postal code from an M2N to an M1N and I basically was in the same boat for 3 days. Oh the tears I cried!

Again, congrats!!!!!!! Safe POE for him!
