interview scheduling for may for u.s embassy mumbai has already been scheduled and its out on the website...the NVC says that they schedule it in 2nd week of each month...its strange how this two events contradict each other...one of my friend got an interview appointment email from NVC in 4th week of march.his case being F4 and pd was current,it took only 18 days after his case was complete to set the interview date...don't know how all ths works...my case got completed on april 2,2010 F4 category but no interview could be set coz mumbai embassy has already displayed the list of cases that they are going to interview in the month of may...

That list is not set in stone. Plenty of people have received their appointment letter after the list has gone up. It's quite probable that it is almost full but it is not impossible to get a May date next week.

Good luck to those waiting!

You dont need to wait for the interview appointment for the medical. You can do advanced medical now...but yes the appointment letter will have an "appointment" for the medical 1 week before the interview. All you need to have is your passport, NOA2, and MNL case number to do your medical at St. Lukes.

my case was completed on april 2,2010 and ever since then i have been waiting for the interview to be scheduled but no news whatsoever...in my case the SIGN-IN doesn't fail i can still access the NVC payment site...what could be the reason for that?? the AVR SYSTEM clearly says that case completed on april 2,2010 and to wait for 8 weeks after that...so god help me...and some help from members i guess to predict the date....

Next week, April 12-16 is scheduling for May. If you've made it (which I think you have since the cut-off date is April 9, except I don't know much about F4 categories and their PDs), NVC will send you an appointment letter via email.

Good luck!
