hey john i have to thank you for starting this thread and for the advice:) now i have some advice for you. go take some viagra to keep up with the wife that looks half your age.

Yeah, your insult makes sense - he/she asks you to stop posting so much and that she won't help you with immigration, so you insult his/her sex life. That seems fair.

Shannon,

There are many post-booster threads in the off-topic section for your convenience.

Some of the members do have a valid point here. Most of them use the "View New Posts" feature to check up on new postings. Makes sense, no?

I can understand you wanting to answer to a few polls here and there but could you try and keep it a tad reasonable, please?

I said please, see that? I'm trying to be polite and nice and hoping you'll see why some members are agitated by what you've been doing.

Honestly, I could care less because I don't use the View New Posts button, I just browse the Off-topic section.

But can you imagine someone posting a visa related question and it being drowned in a series of bumped up threads from weeks ago?

Imagine yourself in that situation.

PS I think they ought to just get rid of the post count features altogether. How is it such an effort to have 10k posts while 75% of them are nothing but smileys, one-liners and absolute nonsense.
