Eh, I dunno...I agree the personal insults were out of line, and the post-boosting is hella-annoying, but I don't think a whole thread calling her annoying really was the right way to go about it. It's like everyone jumped on the bandwagon, and that can put a person on the defensive real quick.

She also did apologise for both the insults and the postings before she got banned. I've seen far more hurtful insults on here go by without so much as a warning.

But I am not Ewok, so it's his rules!

Just wanted to mention that this reply wasn't exactly courteous, either....

I think there's been a lot of stress lately and people are lashing out in response to that.

And that would be Sharon, she's famous doncha know for calling people names like that, and if memory serves, has been banned for it. Why she's using her hubby's ID (He loves to FISH [the waters] of Okrakoke Island, North Carolina) is well beyond the scope of imagination. Sharon, you're slip is showing, why not post under your own ID?

Post boosting is stupid. To earn a box or heart means you are educated in VJ isn't that why we are all here. I listen to the advice from senior members but for people to just boost there posts makes me weary that they don't know what their talking about .....................

I agree with you on that 100 %!!! When I get an answer from someone on any question that I post, the first thing I look at is when they started here and how many boxes/hearts that they have. Now that I know the truth on how they aquire said boxes/hearts, it makes me rethink the whole concept of having them. I like to think that I have learned quite a lot of valuable information from this site and from the senior members. To be honest, whether or not the now banned person was provoked or not, we all have to be honest here, most of the time when she responds to a person's thread, she can be quite nasty and rude. Whether she thinks she is being funny or trying to joke...I have no clue. Still there is no need to answer that way. If I had just started VJ say a month after her, and I asked a question, with the way she responds, there is no way I would have stayed on VJ. Hell, I almost left after my old thread....you all know the one. Yes, we come here for support, and yes this is the OT, but even then ppl can go over the top with their witty answers. I for one am not saying that all answers should be sugar and spice and everything nice because I know that the real world isn't like that. All I am saying is that answers like the ones she was giving....no need!!!

Just my thought on the matter.
