Eh, I dunno...I agree the personal insults were out of line, and the post-boosting is hella-annoying, but I don't think a whole thread calling her annoying really was the right way to go about it. It's like everyone jumped on the bandwagon, and that can put a person on the defensive real quick.

She also did apologise for both the insults and the postings before she got banned. I've seen far more hurtful insults on here go by without so much as a warning.

But I am not Ewok, so it's his rules!

With dialup I can still get people. I just ban somethign like this:

192.163.*.*

Yeah it just blocked about 100,000 IP's but if I check the logs and no one else uses those IP's then if it is important enough i will do it. I will set it to expire after 6 months or so.

I had over 15 reports of this member. So in this case it was pretty clear the member went overboard . That is a new record by the way!

Nope. One report is enough. But when I get 15 reports I tend to realize that I better look into the problem sooner than later since it may be a huge issue.
