Light-heartedness aside, Shannon, what you said to John was below the belt and uncalled-for. There are plenty of people who don't like to see a whole bunch of "post-boosting" threads on the front page, there are plenty of people in agreement with the original point.

Perhaps it would be better to value your contribution to the site by the number of people you have helped, rather than the number of posts you have made.

look i am over it. i was just post boosting today cos actually i didnt realize it would hurt others. i didnt know it messed up the boards. it got turned into a big deal. and there was drama. i wasnt very pleased to see a thread started about me so i got defensive. everyone thinks john is so innocent. he could have pmed me and explained to me the situation bu,t he decided to do it publicly and things got heated. its over. leave it. i appologize for my remark john. now leave it alone.
