SOUTH BRUNSWICK — The man accused of climbing into a McDonald’s drive-thru window and slapping a worker over a Filet-O-Fish sandwich has turned himself in to South Brunswick police.

...

East has been charged with terroristic threats and simple assault. He was released on a complaint, pending his first court appearance on April 13.

Police say East paid for a Filet-O-Fish sandwich at the first window of the restaurant, near Sand Hill Road, around 4:30 a.m. But he apparently thought he was waiting too long for his order and climbed through the pickup window, yelled at the employee and pushed him against the counter, police said.

He then told the victim that he would be waiting for him, slapped him in the face and walked out of the store with the sandwich, Ryan said.

He should have went to Burger King where he could have had it his way.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

What were the terrorist threats? He was being a jerk (and if he's eating a fast food diet, that's probably part of the reason why he was) but I can't see the terrorist connection from the OP piece.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

I never eat at BK or Jack in the Box because their ads are creepy

Jack and the Box and BK have the best 'quality' food out of the 'major' food chains.

NOTHING touches Whataburger though imho... They just aren't big nationwide..

Lowest quality product/the best at the same time though = White Castle.. mmmmmmm, oh how I miss them being here in Texas.

There's this very irritating White Castle ad that plays on the radio here, but I can't find any mention of it on the Internet at all. Very strange.

I think there's a difference between "terrorist" and "terroristic". Couldn't tell you what it is but seem to remember hearing it somewhere.

I think there's a difference between "terrorist" and "terroristic". Couldn't tell you what it is but seem to remember hearing it somewhere.

"A terroristic threat is a crime generally involving a threat to commit violence communicated with the intent to terrorize another, to cause evacuation of a building, or to cause serious public inconvenience, in reckless disregard of the risk of causing such terror or inconvenience. It may mean an offense against property or involving danger to another person that may include but is not limited to recklessly endangering another person, harassment, stalking, ethnic intimidation, and criminal mischief."

Maybe he said he was going to blow up the place.
