Hey guys, another follow up to see if anyone that applied for SSN in early march received their SS card yet?

Wyatt, I think I'm speaking with you in particular, I think you went down to the SSA the same day my wife and I did. Just wondering if your card came in yet.

I-130 Received: 5-11-2009

I-130 Approved: 8-28-2009

Checklist on my DS230 and 864; Called, under review for checklist corrections (small delay) - Oct and Nov

Case Complete: 12/11/09

Received Interview Date: 1/22/10

Medial: 2/22/10: passed

Interview: 3/3/10: APPROVED! WHOO-HOOO

POE: 3/6/10: yeah!

The mail will probably arrive here shortly. I'll go down and check it in a little while and let you know if it arrived.

I went down and applied around noon last Tuesday. I'll give it two or three more days before I start getting concerned.

Opted In to Electronic Processing: 10-19-09

Case complete @ NVC: 11-13-09

Interview assigned: 01-22-10 (70 days between case complete and interview assignment)

Medical in Vancouver: 01-28-10

Interview @ Montreal: 03-05-10 -- APPROVED!

POE @ Blaine (Pacific Highway): 03-10-10

3000 mile drive from Vancouver to DC: 03-10-10 to 3-12-10

Green card received: 04-02-10

SSN received: 04-07-10

Mailed I-751: 12-27-11

Arrived at USCIS: 12-29-11

I-751 NOA1: 12-30-11 Check cashed: 01-04-12

Biometrics: 02-24-12

10-year GC finally approved: 12-20-12

Received 10-year GC: 01-10-13

Better to be very overprepared than even slightly underprepared!

Cool, ya I'm interesting in finding out. I do expect though that they will arrive this week. ya I think my wife and I went on the 30th (last Tues) as well. Thanks!

Hi guys..

I went to the office on Thursday to register for my SSN. I asked if I could get the number right away and was told to come back the next day with ID to get the actual number.

I was able to open a bank account with that and I needed if for my employer. They are converting me to the American books and I can't get paid without it.

My husband went to the SS office last Tuesday as well, very close to closing time. His card was in the mail this morning.

6/27/2009 Married after being together almost 2 years
