Hey guys,

I noticed on the G-325A form, under the employment history section, the first field has to be the most current job u have until the PRESENT date. That was fine when I was filing for the I-129F before coming to the states because I was working. Now that I'm in the states, without EAD, I can't work so what should I use that first line for with the PRESENT thing?

Yeah. remember, they want a complete work history with no gaps, so you include blocks of unemployment as well. I think for my AOS G-325, I put "Unemployed (Not Work Authorized)" for the top slot.

Little parenthetical notes like that can make the situation clearer for the adjudicator, as long as they fit neatly in the box (or on the same line if you're using an attachment for this question) and are not excessive. I used them to differentiate between types of unemployment (lack of work authorization vs. summer holiday between schoolteacher jobs, for example).

Agreed. No gaps allowed. Mine says "unemployed" from X to present date. X being when I stopped being employed in the job listed below that line.
