Here is our case....

Our I-601 waiver was approved by USCIS in India after which my spouse was requested for interview at local embassy. After the interview she was asked to submit the Affidavit of Support to local document collection place, which we have already done so. When I contact the local embassy they are telling us that the file is with USCIS. The USCIS is telling us the file is under administrative process. However, when I called the DOS they are telling me that they are still waiting on the APPROVAL on WAIVER. Is this a common problem? How can I act to fix this?

I have contacted the local embassy once before to update there system because they were keep telling me the same thing but I have not heard from them if they have updated the system. But when I sent them the email they were able to tell me that the file is back at USICS. What should I do can someone please help....are we in trouble or is this a common a problem.

Thanks.
